Colouring and Creativity Bumper Pack

A creative pack intended as a value pack for activity resource cupboards. Created for groups who have a range of skill and ability levels with a range of common-interest themes to prompt conversation, reminiscence and social interaction. This is a purposefully inclusive kit, containing a mix of resources for very able adults, to simple resources with age-appropriate themes and those that can be enjoyed with children.

Colouring is for many a calming and soothing experience and can be used as a purposeful therapeutic intervention, or meaningful activity. For example, helping maintain and develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, improving attention, concentration. If the activity is carried out in a group, it can be managed as a time to encourage social interaction and develop communication skills or can be facilitated as a safe space where people express feelings and thoughts through conversation, written word or art.

Use different mediums such as pastels, paints, crayons or pencil shading to make each one different or perhaps use multi-media collage and frame the finished piece for display after completion!
